2025 Marathon Registration

Registration:

  • Registration is free but does not include a t-shirt this year.

  • Participants may purchase a marathon package for $40 per participant that includes a t-shirt and helps cover program costs.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Last day to register with shirt size of choice: April 16, 2024

Race Day Packet Pickup: 

  • Marathon packets (instructions and mileage trackers) and t-shirts (if ordered) were delivered to your students' teachers to be handed out April 1, 2025. If you have not received these by April 1st, please reach out to your student's teacher. If you are registering AFTER April 1st, marathon packets can be emailed to you, or you can get it here:

Race Rules and Regulations: 

  • Each participant will complete the 26.2-mile marathon at your own pace, anywhere you choose between April 1-April 30. TK/K goal is half-marathon, 13.1 miles. While the goal is to accomplish 13.1 or 26.2-miles, we encourage you to go beyond the marathon distance!
  • Track progress with the Marathon Mileage Tracker (Marathon Mileage Tracker). Print out and use the calendar to track your miles each day. At the end of the month, add up all your miles on this sheet. This calendar mileage tracker will need to be turned in at the end of the month to front office by Wednesday, May 7th.  
  • Each week, there will be a special optional challenge where student participants can earn chances to enter into a raffle for prizes! To earn tickets, email photos of your student completing the challenge each week to marathon@argonautpta.org by midnight Saturday of the challenge week.
  • Get rewarded for your distance achieved! Many more prizes at the end of the month for those who achieve the most miles as individuals, as a family, and as a classroom.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree that I, and all participants I am registering, are:

  • Aware of the inherent risks associated with participating in a virtual marathon, including but not limited to:
    • Dehydration
    • Heat exhaustion
    • Cardiac arrest
    • Muscle injuries
    • Falls
    • Traffic hazards
  • Physically fit and have adequately trained for this virtual marathon.
  • Understand and agree to abide by all race rules and regulations.
  • Understand that I may be required to withdraw from the race at any time for medical reasons.
  • Release and hold harmless the race organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and all other parties involved from any and all liability for any injuries or damages thatmay be sustained during the virtual marathon.

 Marathon Family Sponsorship
Family sponsorship deadline has passed. Families can still make a donation and will be recognized in other ways, though unable to be recognized on marathon t-shirts.		$100.00 
Business Sponsorship

Businesses interested in sponsoring the Argo Marathon can visit https://www.argonautpta.org/form/m/321538 to find out more and donate. Deadline to sponsor and have your business logo on the banner is Sunday, 4/20.  Unfortunately, the deadline to have your logo on the t-shirt has passed.
