DRAMA PROGRAM

AfterSchool Program for 1st-5th grade!

Exciting NEW Drama Program taught by Drama Coach, Ms. Brittnie Brotzman. Brittnie has taught theater and art in the community as well as this year's Foothill Drama Club and is working with Saratoga High School's drama instructor to coordinate young performers for The Little Mermaid musical production. 
 
This is a chance for elementary students to learn introductory performing arts skills. We will explore creative thinking through exciting improv and theatre games, develop confidence by practicing scenes among friends, and have lots of fun learning to express different emotions and characters.
 
The Drama Program will meet for 6 weeks in the MPR and will take place on Thursdays from 3:00-4:30pm. 
Note: 1st and 2nd graders will need adult supervision between 2:30 dismissal until the Drama Program starts at 3:00pm. Supervision will not be provided by the Drama Coach or PTA.
 

The dates and themes for each class of the Drama Program are as follows:

  • April 17 - (First Meeting) Intro
  • April 24 - Script
  • May 1 - Auditions / Acting
  • May 8 - Set Design / Props / Costumes
  • May 15 - Music / Lighting / Sound
  • May 22 - (Final Meeting) Mini Shows
