COMMITTEES

Committees coordinate family volunteers to support PTA activities, enhancing our school environment.

 

To ensure smooth operations and facilitate transitions, we aim to have at least two members for each committee. Ideally, these members represent different grades whenever possible, fostering collaboration and continuity in efforts.

COMMITTEE Descriptions

Communications and Marketing

  • Cover Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp
  • Manage website content including Calendar of Events, blog posts/newsletter, and ParentSquare communication to support Programs, Events, and Fundraising.
  • Coordinate with programs and events for updates.
  • Publishes weekly eNews (to Argo) and informs the PTA web-coordinator.

Fundraising

  • Plan and organize fundraising activities
  • Promote and manage Corporate Matching
  • Communicate and promote fundraising activities and Corporate Matching through eNews, emails, etc.
  • Focus on raising the amount of funds needed to meet the unit’s budget
  • Present reports on proposed fundraising activities at board and association meetings for approval

Hospitality

  • Caters meals for teacher workdays during the school year.
  • The biggest event is Staff Appreciation Week in May. Staff Appreciation Week is the week of May 5, 2025.

Volunteer

  • Recruit volunteers for various PTA programs and events.
  • Oversee and manage volunteer assignments for programs and event
